Our room was beautiful--the entire hotel is decorated with flower motifs and someone has obviously paid a great attention to detail. Everything. This hotel cannot be faulted. The 'bad reviews' that this hotel has recieved have been written by what my girlfriend I have considered to be 'snobs'. This is a very beautiful place to stay, peaceful yet less than 10 minutes walk from the Tower. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My Hotels Galilei is an excellent hotel. I got it at a really good bargain. It's a worth the money if you are visiting Pisa. The rooms are excellent quality, and bathrooms are really clean as well. Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Renovated in January 2013 by someone with excellent taste, perhaps the lovely owner who was ever so helpful. The hotel is in a residence built in the 1700s and has a few impressive paintings gracing its walls. It is in a street away from the action which could be good or bad depending on your tastes....no views of anything but really with all of the gorgeous decor one does not need an external view. The bathrooms in particular are WOW!

The accommodation was very clean and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The location was superb and the cafe area outside for breakfast was delightful to sit and have something to eat. I would definitely recommend Griffi to other travellers. -

The lady who met us was incredibly helpful. She was available late in the evening when we arrived (after 2200) and met us far from the hotel so that we could find our way. Our check-in was quick and we were able to clean up and sleep quickly. The room and beds were very comfortable, the air conditioner helped cool the room...we had a very pleasant stay.

About 10 mins in a cab from the airport, and another 10 mins in a cab to Leaning Tower, so ideal location. Reception, bar and other shared areas very luxurious. Deluxe room was more simple, but clean and spacious and fantastic bed. Worth money for view of Leaning Tower from balcony! Jack and Jill showers a nice feature. Very good value for €100.
