  The rooms were very comfortable and had private bathrooms! There was a large, comfortable lobby with a view out to the fjord and we enjoyed relaxing there while soft music played in the background. A large breakfast was served which included scrambled eggs and bacon! - Very good value for money room including private bath and breakfest.   Nice recent and clean bungalows close to a lava field with the volcano Hverfjall at sight and the lake just opposite the road, behind the farm where the reception and the restaurant is. The staff was very friendly and explain local sightseeing to everyone. Well located to discover the region. The Hverfjall you can climb in 10 minutes is just - I am still amazed of this guesthouse, because it is of the same uniqueness, that also brands the whole area around it! The staff was incredibly helpful (they would have planned our whole two days in this area perfectly for us, if we wanted them to!) and open minded. The breakfast was very good as well. But the most incredible part are the rooms themselves: You get such a good and cosy (and also romantic) feeling, once you enter your floor-heated, wooden-made room, that you don't want to leave

  The apartment was really tastefully decorated. It was very spacious and had good amenities. It was very comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were a big plus. The hosts were very helpful with suggestions and information on the area and tours. We got a bit lost trying to locate the place, the host personally came to direct us to the apartment. The owner who turned up to meet us there when we arrived was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an apartment on Munkathverárstræti 33 which was set back from the water on a quiet street which was perfect for our one night stop off.

  I'm so grateful to Yola and Jon for their warm welcome! The place is amazing! Perfectly clean, smart designed)) from the first moment I got a feeling like I got home! Cuisine is delicious! So this place is perfect for those, who travel on the North, place where you get great food, warm bed, and very heartful and sincere ho - Lady owner is very kind, despite not ordering breakfast. She offered to make me hot water for my tea. Staff is nice and friendly too. The rooms are all very tidy and clean. For it's price, a decent place to stay. I wouldn't ask for more.

  My husband and I stayed at this charming little hotel for two nights while we were on vacation in June 2013. We loved the location where Lamb Inn is situated. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains right by the river. It is also only 5 minutes to the airport. The hotel is family owned. The food is delicious, and they were - This facility was run smoothly with a friendly. helpful, and knowledgeable staff. It felt like you were part of their family. As an extra attraction, we also toured the old farmsite on the property and learned a lot of history about the area.The view was absolutely fantastic, especially from the hot tub! It was easy to get to the city of Akureyri which is filled museums, shops, and restaurants. We would love to come back again.

  The location is stunning! It faces an unusual set of spiky cliffs, embedded in a larger gorgeous valley to the West of Akureyri. We absolutely loved our stay here, and extended it because it was so much nicer than other places we had stayed. The people who run it were so friendly, and everything was very comfortable.
