  We have stayed at Galatia Apartments twice and had a fantastic time. The apartments are well finished and very clean which is very important to us with children. The swimming pool was also very clean with plenty of sunbeds to relax and watch the children play. The apartments are next to the sea and you can walk along the front to find lots of places to eat and drink. We have been on holiday man - Everything !! The owners/staff are the epitomy of Greek Hospitality !! They make Greece proud !! Very clean, family friendly, easy access, close to the beach, close to the city, eager to please, generous and delicious breakfast, polite, friendly, beautiful facilities. Would definately recommend to others and return for future vacations.

  First of all Aspros Potamos is a really wonderful place to stay. We stayed there for 8 days and really enjoyed the peace and quit in the valley of Aspros Potamos. The beach and the village of Makry Gialos are about a 15 minute walk via a small road through olivetrees and small vegetable gardens. The facilities are good, normal shower (very tiny stream), - We stayed for 8 days at Aspros Potamos and we loved it! Really where we were looking for, something different, in nature, with a lot of silence and calmness. Birds singing all day long, the sound of the river and reading a book. On the other hand there a plenty things to do, walking to the beach, restaurants and shops in 15 minutes or walking the Pefki gorge.   Great location with a beautiful view at the sea. The staff are family and are all very kind! You feel like home. There is now noice from other hotels. You can hear the sea when you sleep with your windows open :). The breakfast is very good with local products. In the evening you can eat there and it's also good. Every day they clean your room. The rooms are next to a restaurant run by the same people. The food from this restaurant is delicious and the breakfast was excellent. The dinner we had there was the best we had in Crete. It is right by the beach. Quiet location- good for exploring the North West of Crete by car. Great value for money. The people who run it are very friendly and helpful. WIFI in restaurant area.

  Great location - a short walk from the seafront, beaches and main strip, which is ok but even better, a few minutes' drive up the hill (walkable if fitter and less lazy than me!) are delightful twin villages with as many good eateries as you could wish for. It is a very beautiful and quiet location, yet a short walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants.   I've spent one week in Stella Paradise. It is at 3 minutes walking from the beach. I had a studio with kitchenette. The kitchen was new, everything was very clean, the studio was cleaned everyday.   Klinakis Hotel has one of the best locations of any hotel we stayed in in Greece. It is right on the beach, with no highway between you and the sea. We left our patio door open to the sea breeze and it was the only hotel we didn't need an air conditioner on.
