Excellent location, great staff whose attention to detail and desire to please was second to none! Superb breakfasts with lots of choice and extras like the small pancakes deep fried and served with honey and sesame seeds - delicious. Meals in the restaurant were fantastic, again with lots of extras and a new dessert to sample every day. The staff were very well trained, courteous and took the time to talk. Breakfast was very good - fruit, cereal, coffee, juice, cold meat, cheese, bread, croissants, doughnuts, bacon, eggs etc.
Staff were very friendly. Room small but adequate. Hotel was very quiet but lots of restaurants and bars very close. Beach lovely. Also local museum worth seeing.

The villa was very nice and compact; the garden was pretty, pool was good and was cleaned regularly, the house was nicely furnished, the game/gym room was regularly used by our children.

... co mówią ludzie » hop on the ground where you can get some groceries - The facilities, the service, the friendliness of the owner, the atmosphere, the location, all are exceptional. The owner maintains a small store with basic supplies on the compound, which is very convenient considering that the ~30 people settlement is a long way from places with shops and does not offer any reasonable supply. The place is definitely worth driving the narrow road up to it.

The staff were so welcoming , particularly Georgos , and the welcome meeting with free glass of champagne and smoked salmon blinis was a really nice touch . We were upgraded and our room was lovely with fabulous view to spinalonga and hot tub on the balcony . Another very nice touch was free bottle of very good quality Cretan red wine . All in all

The hotel was in an amazing location set in a cove, the exterior of the hotel blended into the natural cove scene which was great.

We picked the Crete to spend the end of our visit to Greece relaxing and
enjoying the beach. The cove beaches and day beds were the reason we
choose Knossos Beach Bungalows & Suites. Upon our arrival there was
a glitch with our rooms but it was fixed and the rest of our stay was
fine. We had dinner at the Swell Restaurant and it was fantastic.
