  We are senior couple and prefere to stay close to the downtown, so that to be able to return home in the afternoon and relax for a while to be ready for further explorations. This hotel was just perfect from this view point. It is small. homy and quiet. It's such a pleasure to wake up not because of the street noises, but birds' singing! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was, for a pension in the city center. There were even two live plants in the room. We've paid 75 Euros for the double room with private shower/WC during the Opera festival which is a great deal for Altstadt. Apartment was clean with good facilities we didn't use the kitchenette but it looked really well equipped.
