The Hotel is away from the tourist part of town, but a short walking distance to everything. A taxi ride from the train station is best unless you're a hiker with a backpack and wish to walk. The staff were amazing; the rooms were clean and quiet; wifi was reliable; the breakfast was a huge buffet and there was coffee to go. It was great to leave the car in the free carpark and walk the 2km across the Mosel River into Trier - an amazing historical city.   Cleanliness and friendlyness of staff - On the first day, the staff welcomed us with a little basket with fresh fruits, while it was not included in our reservation at all. That was a very nice surprise.
