The reception staff were extremely professional and helpful, the standard of the hotel exceeded my expectations and the location was very good. Yes the room was small but we knew that as it was clear on the website. However that did not deter us from having a very positive experience.

  The hotel is very near to MarienPlatz and the food market. In front is the very nice and huge supermarket with German deliciousness. The room was a bit small, but high tech. Clean, neat, I was on the fourth floor overlooking the street. Super fast Internet. Very easy walk to many sights and both U & S stations. Easy to get from airport, many good restaurants nearby. Beds are very comfortable, room very clean, breakfast selection also very good. Management cleared up a dispute over a broken light switch to our satisfaction. Front desk staff all very friendly and helpful.

  This is our second time staying at the Hotel an der Oper and we chose it again for its excellent location. It is located very near the Hofbrauhaus (and other eating & drinking places such as Augustiner and Hard Rock), which are all very easy to walk to. Also, it is only a 3-5 minute walk to Marienplatz (which is another good location). Most of the top sights of Munich are right nearby. The same is true of many of the best restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with reservations, including getting us excellent seats at a very popular performance of Rigoletto, which was right around the corner. They also selected and reserved a perfect restaurant for our first night in the city. Very nice!

  This hotel was great, excellent location near the S-Bahn station and near the MarienPlatz you can walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants near by (walking distance). The rooms were very nice and the bathrooms were extremely clean and spacious. Staff super friendly and helpful.   The friendly atmosphere and high level of service. Excellent central situation, but quiet. It didn't feel as if there were 110 other rooms! - Superb friendly staff, clean nicely decorated bedroom. Excellent central location.

  I am extremely positively impressed by the behavior of the entire staff who checked me in and checked me out of the hotel. Furthermore, the Hotel General Manager Mr. Kayhan Kilit handling with my requests and complaint was extremely impressive and more than satifactory. I highly recommend this Hotel not just for its close proxim - The hotel is very new, and has very nice installations. The staff is very friendly. There is a great garden with a "sandbox" and toys for the kids. Very near to OstbahnHof from where you can reach every place in the city with public transport. Convenience and restaurants nearby. Very family friendly. Washing/dry machines in the basement for 4 Euro each program.
