Charming small stone-fronted hotel on the edge of lovely old Sarlat. Handy elevator, and free parking (though it's a bit of a walk up the hill). Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby in the old village, easy walking everywhere. I based here to see the caves in the region, and enjoyed every minute. -

We had a great stay at this b&b. Gabrielle was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The location is fantastic, literally 2 minutes walk from the centre of the old town, yet just outside of it so you still get peace and quiet. Breakfast was always excellent and filling. Overall a fantastic little place.

Location was wonderful, accommodation had all mod cons but was also had heaps of character as it was set in an attic, in a very old building. Rhona was fantastic, and provided us with heaps on valuable information. Sarlat is a wonderful town, with lots and lots to see. -

The apartments are set with superb views of the surrounding area. The welcome and assistance from the staff was excellent although their English and my French is limited, but don't let that put you off. They used Google translate when they weren't sure! The apartments we stayed in were modern, spacious and clean. We had an excellent holiday in a very beautiful area of France. We read the comments about the walk to Sarlat, it took us about 20 minutes and yes you need a torch if you do the journe

Everything at this B&B was perfect. Breakfast was excellent because

We booked at the last minute for the night of Bastille Day and were able to find a room. Gabrielle was very gracious and helpful. She let us leave our bags there at 11:00 a.m. while she finished cleaning our room, even though the "official" check-in time was 6:00 p.m. She also offered us coffee and a snack and gave us a map and info on the town. Room was lovely.
Our private WC and bathroom were across the hall, but that was no problem. She even hung a drawable curtain in the hallway for priva

Le Porche de Sarlat is located in the old city of Sarlat and private car parking is located just outside the wall. Alex the owner was waiting for us when we arrived and explained all the appliances within the apartment which was new with all modern appliances and cooking requirements.
