  We loved the hotel. It's got a lot of personal touch to it, the rooms are lovely and the staff is super-friendly and helpful. We also liked the little verandah with a spy-glass on the second floor.   Really enjoyed the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere / location. Staff and management very friendly and welcoming. Room comfortable and spotlessly clean and uniquely in my experience there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The grounds are beautifully maintained and sun loungers were very useful !! Like the emphasis on running the hotel in as eco-friendly a way as possible - I felt welcome - and my three border collies were made very welcome too as soon as it was seen that they were well behaved and quiet. Other guests were unobtrusive, friendly - and most were probably retired and a nice mix of nationalities. The hotel allowed me a comfortable and relaxing few days. The menu that was provided for "demi-pension" was delicious. Breakfast was a varied and generous buffet.

  We stayed at the hotel because it was convienient, we have stayed there 3 times before, the hotel is fine, the staff are friendly. We do not stay for breakfast so I cannot comment on the food. The room was large (112) and had a nice bathroom and shower - That we had a roof over our heads.
