Absolutely everything! There are only superlatives to describe this wonderful haven that Anne has created. The location is beautiful, as is the accommodation, great bed and shower, breakfast lovely with the opportunity to mix with other guests as only three rooms. Lovely garden. everything! Anne is an absolute delight and has the most tasteful eye in her design and decorating. The bath was luxurious and the bed was like a grand hotel. She gave us great information, guidance and a delicious breakfast. She easily switched back and forth between English and French depending on the guest she was talking to. Next time we are staying here longer!

Nikki and Julian are simply wonderful hosts, and we loved our stay at Le
Pavillon Villemaurine. We wished we had stayed longer. This small hotel
is perfectly situated in Saint Emilion, so that you can explore the
village and sample restaurants on foot. The hotel rooms are spacious and
beautifully appointed. Breakfast was fabulous with French Press coffee.

Besides being so close to Saint Emilion and other great places of interest, the family who owns it is very friendly, helpful and really cares that you have a wonderful time. The hosts' hospitality was phenomenal. Glass of wine as welcome. We also booked the dinner option (to be recommended) and the hosts had invited an English speaking friend and there was an English speaking Russian couple as well. The food (dinner and breakfast) was superb but we probably didn't give it the attention it deserved because we were so busy talking. We also had plenty of the excellent 'housewine'.
