We booked a standard room in the Mercure and got an upgrade to a suite
in the Grand Mercure which was fantastic! Couldn't fault anything at

Nice hotel. Quite location in residential square with all Accor hotels nearby. Staff very efficiently, expecially we wish to thanks a lot Mr. Andy who gave us all necessary info's needed as well as train ticketing support. We do suggest a short visit early morning to the near park, to see ordinary people practise Thai-Chi and dancing

The hotel was well located, comfortable and clean; it also had a quite interesting historical and stylish aspect to it. The location is excellent -- one can walk to most of the sites within old city walls comfortably (e.g., the walk to the Southern entrance to the city wall is around 30 minutes). The ideal location to the bell and drum towers, easy access to airport shuttle, English speaking staff, an unexpected treasure is Xi'an wish we had stayed longer..a city full of life and culture. Would recommend the visit not just to see the Terracotta Warriors this place offers more than that. Very enjoyable stay.

The location is fine, it is not really walking distance to the centre (Bell Tower area）but there are many buses which take you there just for 1-2 RMB (2 stops).
This hotel is pretty good value for the money, it is clean and offeres simple breakfast for additional charge. No problem with internet, however they only have cable connection in the roo
