What did i like the most was the staff of the hostel. They were so nice with us helping and greeting all the times with a big wide smile on the face. They are really great! Rooms are big, clean and spacious. The place is just next to the metro station so there is no problem to get anywhere you want. But it is really hard to find by the first time - we did the call to reception and they explained to the taxi driver how to get there. So easy :-)

Excellent customer service. Reception and bar staff speak excellent
English and go out of their way to help you.
Trip to Mutianyu was excellent value for money and despite being stuck in a traffic jam was a fantastic day out.
The hostel is an easy 5 min walk from the Dongsi metro station. Very easy to find. Don't be put off by comments which say it's hard to find.

The location is perfect, just 10 min walk away from Qianmen and Tiananmen Square, you can also find subway and bus quite easily around there.
The cafe bar is really nice, good place to meet friends.
Beds are pretty comfortable, I stayed in a 14 bed dorm, quite a big room, not crowded at all. The A/C works well, hot water 24 hrs, and oh! the bar opens 24 hrs as well, which is a bonus!
The price is quite reasonable in Beijing, esp at central area.

I am a true fan of the Opposite House. I stay once a year there, when on Business in Beijing. The staff is very helpful and is happy to take care of many issues, which would cost you a lot of time doing yourself, such as printing business cards etc. The rooms are great, with all facilities you want, nice coffee, great music system, free mini-bar. It was very close, within walking distance, of two of the most famous hutongs. Very comfortable beds with a modern bathroom. The staff waited up for us until 1 am to let us in when returned to our room. The breakfast was great with many selections.

The comfort of the beds is extraordinary, so is the quality of the food at breakfast and in the italian restaurant. Staff is friendly and helpful. We still could use the pool area after checkout. 10min walking to the rail station and subway. -
