I was there during the Canton Fair which makes it more like a time of celebration for the hotels in the city of Guangzhou. Everyone has their own special services for the fair.

It is a good hotel if you go to Guangzhou for Business. Indeed it is a Chinese hotel and you can have some little difficulties with the language and cigarette (if you are not a smoker). I was in town for attending Canton Fair. Well organized free shuttle service to the Fair.
Made a special request for early check in at 10am which was granted without any extra fees.

I happened to have lost my laptop in the airport, and I only found out
when I reached out hotel. The concierge people - 2 female staff -
followed up with Airport lost and found dept, and I got my laptop back.
It was more to how calm they were and followed up. They worried about me
as much as I worried about myself. Also breakfast was just amazing!
