What a classic! I loved it and felt that I was a part of the real Victoria that many never see. The quiet location within walking distance of the downtown and transit to the rest of town was great. Firstly, one needs to compare the day rate between the Empress and the
Inn. The Empress is only a few blocks away, free parking, free wi-fi,
also doesn't have air conditioning....and is almost $300 more a day.
As I didn't need to spend a lot of time in my room, the size
didn't matter. However, security and cleanliness was key and the Inn
met those very well. The restaurant is excellent. The staff very
friendly and helpful. Although there is no elevator, staff will carry

If you are only staying in the hotel to sleep, it is great! - I loved the hotel -- We were given an upgrade to two one-bedroom suits, which were lovely and very comfortable. I had a private room for a really good price, though small I had a fridge and lots of cupboards above the bed. Comfortable and quiet despite having a bar downstairs, soundproofing was very good couldn't hear other guests when in my room. We loved our stay in this hotel! We got a room with a private bathroom, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Hotel's staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is great - was close to everything we needed in downtown. The price was great too! I highly recommend this hotel and we will stay there again next time we are in Victoria.

Last year I stayed at a B&B and we paid $250 a night and I didn't like the breakfast or the room. I stayed sept 7 one night at Super 8 and I liked it, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was great. I really enjoyed my time here....I would definitely stay at another Super 8 again. -
