I had a private room for a really good price, though small I had a fridge and lots of cupboards above the bed. Comfortable and quiet despite having a bar downstairs, soundproofing was very good couldn't hear other guests when in my room. Ocean Island does cheap meals and has a great atmosphere downstairs, it is a bit of a party place but as I am over 40 not really my thing this didn't disturb me felt . I wasn't keen on my original room as was a bit stuffy but reception offered me an alternativ.
wszystkie opinie » We loved our stay in this hotel! We got a room with a private bathroom, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Hotel's staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is great - was close to everything we needed in downtown. The price was great too! I highly recommend this hotel and we will stay there again next time we are in Victoria. The room I was in (double bed, private room) was clean and big enough for one person to have a enough space. It even had a fridge. The washrooms were clean as well and there were plenty, so I never had to wait. But what I liked most were the super friendly staff. They helped out with everything and were always there to answere any question, day or night. clean bed, breeze come in the night, so comfortable. The lower beds are better than the upper beds as I hear people living upper beds complaining too hot in night. But I didn't feel it in the lower beds. Bathrooms where very clean. Small cafe and bar offered. Staff helpful and knowledgeable. Grey Hound bus station to other destinations, within easy walking distance. Great location and staff were helpful and friendly. More shelves in rooms. 床太软，Private房间太小。. I wasn't asked if I would like a towel when I checked in. When it was shower time I was on the fourth floor and in my pajamas. In a slightly seedy area of Victoria. Common room too small. my room smelled like boys, ew. Nothing!. The dorm room prices were ok, but the double room was as expensive as a regular hotel, but had no space to sit and no private bath. There should be a room rate rather than a per individual rate. The small double I was staying in was tiny, which wouldn't normally be a problem, but it felt like a furnace. Because it was so hot I was forced to keep the window open right and the noise outside gave me a very fitful nights sleep. Also the door in one of the bathrooms on the third floor was stuck. I was locked in there, fortunately another guest was able to kick it in, apparently she knew that was the only way to open it, from the outside. The bed was sadly, the worse we have slept in over our past Nine Months of travelling. Very badly fitting sheets. The plastic mattress was exactly like those used in hospitals!. We stayed in one of the private rooms for a week. The room was comfortable enough, but at bit small for an extended stay. We had to balance our computers on bedside tables and were always stepping over our bags. Very small room, noisy street, bathrooms. The location isn't good. the room is very tiny, and not smell good. The private room was very small and dark. There's was nothing in it except the uncomfortable bed and the fridge. The shared bathrooms were a bit dirty. La chambre privée était miniscule et sombre. Check in took 45 min, 3 people involved, non of them knew what to do NO TOWELS IN THE ROOMS THEY OFFERED TO RENT FOR $8 /towel with deposit of $10 .Bedding smells mold definitely not fresh smell. I found some hairs in the sheet and pillow cases. The window cannot be closed tightly；there is always wind coming in. Mini double room barely fits the bed. Linen was dirty, toenails found in sheets. Charge you for every extra they can.
