My sister and I loved our stay in Hallstatt. We were upgraded to a
junior suite on the top floor of the main house - with a very convenient
elevator not far away. We had stunning views of the lake and parts of
the town from our little balcony. The room was very spacious, crisp, and

The gorgeous town of Hallstatt had experienced devastating flash flooding two nights prior to our visit and our hotel had been affected. You wouldn't have known that though as they cleaned up very quickly. Our room was divine. Luxurious, comfortable, and extremely clean. The view of the lake from our balcony was breathtaking. Breakfast was ample but could be improved for the price. We dined in the restaurant twice for dinner and it was superb. The schnitzel with the kartofelsalat with wh

Room decor outstanding and very comfortable. Traditional Austrian
style with gorgeous woodwork throughout. Cost was very reasonable for
such a beautiful place. The views of the surrounding mountains and
lake are breathtaking, although from this location they are

Friendly staff who spoke English fairly well, a clean room with a partial view of the water and town (and the next building) and a great restaurant downstairs. They also offer (included in room) a good breakfast of cheeses, breads yogurt and cereal, etc.
