  We overnighted as we had an early-morn departure the next day. Family (incl 2 grandchildren) joined us for dinner. My 5 yo g-son adored the pasta bolognese and ate every mouthful - he thanked the chef, too. Upgraded as it was my husband's birthday which was lovely. Excellent gym and pool facilities for early morning fitness. Evening snack meal great too. Would stay again if passing through with little time to go into city. Also saved on expensive transfer in and out of city which is worth factoring into the equation of overall cost.

  The hotel has been recently renovated and is very clean and tidy. The location is perfect - whithin 5 min. walk from the airport (McDonalds is even closer). Room is small but has a TV, reverse cycle aircon, toilet/shower cubicle and sink. Hot drink and snack machines downstairs ($2 for a cup of tea or coffee). Very helpful staff. Overall, I thought it was perfect - It really is walking distance from the airport - under 5 minutes, and reasonably well signposted. Happily surprised to find bar fridge, coat hangers, mirrors, en suite etc. This is not a Formule 1 anymore, with recent renovations it has certainly gone up a notch. We got lucky and were on the non-airport side of the building so a view of green hills was a nice surprise.

Happy hour at the bar was great, with the staff treating all the guests that were there as part of the family.   The staff were awesome. From the pick up & return to the airport by the hotel shuttle bus was a fantastic service. This alone would make me stay here again. Their night shift driver "JP" even dropped me to the nearest Tram so i could use a more cost effective way into the city.   After a long international flight the Mantra was amazing. We arrived late at night so only spent about 7 hours at the hotel. But we ha the best sleep. Just what we need prior to an early morning flight. We didn't know how to get the bus to the hotel however it was only a $11 cab ride. From the helpful reception to my room to the spa, my experience was wonderful. Having found a reasonable rate on Booking, I expected something fairly basic, and this pleasantly exceeded my expectations. The bed was comfortable, the surroundings upmarket, the spa and lap pool relaxing. Quiet too.
