I loved everything about the Bower!!
The cabin is beautiful, great design and very welcoming. I loved the glass doors and windows leading out to the decking.
I loved the decking area, we spotted plenty of wildlife and the sound of the birds made for a very peaceful atmosphere.

Their spa options were great, albeit a little pricey.
Staff were extra helpful and friendly.
The room was large and well designed. The best features included the bathroom with its own spa bath and the large balcony overlooking the golf course which was stunning.
Being a smoker, the ashtray on the balcony table was much appreciated and made the morning coffees more enjoyable.

All the features of the motel, from furnishings to the site we stayed in and the excellent staff. I will be recommending The Grand Mercure Hills Lodge to everyone I know who are planning to stay in Sydney and I intend to make it one of my first stops next time I visit Sydney. From the first glimpse of the four poster bed, the wingbacked lounge chairs with cosy throws and antique fire place, I knew we had chosen well. That was before we had relaxed outside in our private courtyard with fresh plunger coffee. Then heading off to the double spa with a bottle of wine .It was the perfect place to relax and indulge.

I recently stayed at the Carrington with a sibling. Our grandparents had honeymooned there in the 1920s. The olde world charm, sense of history and beautiful architectural features are so impressive. Scrabble in the Billiard room, reading in the Library, hot chocolate in the Main Lounge in front of an open fire. The magnificent leadlight windows and original paintings only enhance the hotel's unique beauty. I personally would never stay anywhere else while in Katoomba. The huge buffet breakfast

We really liked how quiet and peaceful this location is. It is approximately 5'kilometres from town, which is far enough from the hustle and bustle and close enough to access the town facilities and beach. The resident peacock is a real highlight. -

we liked the off the street parking and very central to the shops and clubs. also we both have bad backs and we were put on the ground floor for this reason, so we didn't have to lug cases up the stairs. thankyou -
