The lady that owns and runs this motel was fabulous. She called me on the morning that I was arriving to see if I needed to be picked up from the airport! Everything. Karen was wonderful. We are both gluten and dairy intolerant. She said that was not a problem and provided a fantastic breakfast for us. She directed us to where we wanted to go with attractions,shopping centres. Wish we could have stayed longer the unit was great modern impeccably clean . Everything you could want. Thank you.

As the motel is a bit out of town we ate at the motel restaurant. It was very nice food, steak cooked as requested. The pork belly was lovely and vegetables were perfect as well. The bed was large and comfortable and all amenities were provided. -
The rooms were quite and you could not hear your neighbours TV or upstairs visitors or traffic. Facitiliies were very clean & modern. The staff very friendly and helpfull. The restaurant was good and an easy drive into the Motel reception area.

Byron Cove Beach house was welcoming and small. Provided a quiet oasis with extremely clean and well equipped rooms. Easy walk to the beach. The walk to the town was a bit long, but easily done if you're wearing comfortable shoes. Breakfast each morning was lovely. Very much enjoyed our stay and would likely come back. -

All the features of the motel, from furnishings to the site we stayed in and the excellent staff. I will be recommending The Grand Mercure Hills Lodge to everyone I know who are planning to stay in Sydney and I intend to make it one of my first stops next time I visit Sydney. Although I was only passing through Albury and had a shor stay, the staff were very attentive and friendly. Parking was easily available and free. The room was large, clean and well presented. The location was ideal for my travels through Albury and the standard of accommodation for the price was excellent. I also enjoyed my evening meal, which was delicious as was the wine. 10 out of 10 to the staff on duty.

I loved the quiet & peaceful surrounds & the open country view from the balcony.Just beautiful. Cows in the paddock ( on my first visit) were a picture of contentment ! The balcony was a lovely place to sit and relax after a day of driving, or in the early morning with a cup of tea.

Travis and Justina were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. My wife had had a tummy bug the day before we arrived and wasn't in much form during our brief stay; however, Travis and Justina did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were given magazines and power supplies to charge our phones. I'd love to return here and explore the area around Albury-Wodonga - the Sundowner Hume Country Motor Inn would be an ideal base

I loved the fact that the apartment was very clean and new, and had everything we could ask for. We could walk to Charlestown Square, and there were lots of restaurants close by as well. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were great. There were lots of crockery and cutlery, all up, the apartment was great. We would stay again next time we come to Newcastle.

The Hotel had more of a family atmosphere, with staff treating you as a treasured friend rather than as a client. The Hotel is steeped in history, and has been restored to reflect a bygone age.
The food is superb, and there is an extensive beverage list. I'm looking forward to visiting again.
