The staff was very accommodating to me checking in just prior to when
they opened up midday and were helpful with information on the busses to
the city and back and with storing my luggage prior to my flight
schedule. The location is just a short walk from Newtown which is a
great neighborhood and has good restaurants that have more realistic

The staff were super friendly and we would stay there just for that
reason. The new beds are super comfy, clean and quiet.....forget about
those expensive 5 star hotels with the snooty staff, go to the Ibis as
Sy Peters, you wont be sorry...besides all that there is a kfc and a
Macdonalds right outside the front door! Fine dining and a wonderful
location with friendly staff and comfy beds???? Go to the ibis!!!

My partner and myself booked the shuttle bus for the following morning and accidently left our tickets in the room. We told the shuttle bus driver we just needed to grab a copy from the reception desk just inside. Rather than putting our bags into the bus whilst I ran inside the driver argued with my partner and said he "didnt have time for this"

My trip was due to a last minute cancellation leaving me stranded.
From this perspective the internet facilities appear very pricey for modern standards/pricing.
The late night KFC and 24 hour McDonalds was handy in terms of at least having something to eat/drink for more budget conscious customers.
The distance to the venue was also within a very short walk negating the need for a taxi or even shuttle bus.

Besthostel i've stayed at. Friendly and helpful staff, great location, clean, huge personal lockers. also, the free bbq on saturday and free pancakes on Sunday are great! comfy beds, and easy to meet people in the Blue Room each night for drinking games, karaoke and other fun events. Loved it! -
