Fantastic friendly reception on arrival, reasonable sized rooms, clean and functional. great having breakfast included, and restaurant on site was a definite bonus. i would definitely stay here again, so far best motel we have used in Goulburn as far as value for money and service go.

We had a spa room because we had our 6mth old baby so the kitchenette with microwave & bath was a necessity. Our room had lots of space for our little one to zoom around in his walker & was at the far end so nice & quiet. The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The room had 12 power outlets! 12! and 4 of them were either side of the bed.
The Air con was new and worked brilliantly.
The room was ver spacious which was great when it is raining and you have kids.
There are deer which were just a lovely touch for the kids.

The convenience to the club and shops for meals, comfort and cleanliness. The staff were very friendly and willing to offer advice on where to go and how to get there. We enjoyed our stay very much. The club next door for meals was fantastic. We didn't have to go looking for meals. -

Coffee on arrival ... just the thought is what mattered, but the smell and the taste were wonderful (attention to fine detail). After a long drive, it was most welcome and almost a hand of friendship. The main reason we booked our stay at the Whale Motor Inn was due to the gluten free options at their in-house restaurant and it didn't disappoint! Best 3 course GF meals we have had in many years. The owners are and the staff were fantastic and the views from our room were fantastic. Will be back for a longer stay next time. -

We were there as the threat of a major bushfire approach. The staff were really helpful and on hand to help us, even though their houses were at risk.
This is a great location for all of the sights.
We requested something for the room and it was immediate.

I found the accommodation to be far better than most. The management were in hand to make sure my room was ready even though I was late arriving. They serve AMAZING breakfasts in their restaurant and I can say absolutely that their Pumpkin, Ginger and Honey soup is the best soup I have ever tasted. -
