  I liked the fact that we had a sizeable suite (i.e. bedroom separate lounge & kitchen) for a similar price to what others were charging just for a motel room. It was close to the CBD, even though the road was reasonably quiet.   I have stayed at the Clarion four times and each time I have been impressed by the friendly, but professional service. The rooms are so comfortable, it is like going home. I would always chose the Clarion when in Lauceston. We arrived early after abandoning our side trip on the way due to bad weather and an early check-in was organised with very good grace. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed.

  Staff were friendly and at the time pool was being retiled, but we were able to use the one at the casino and were offered to travel in a shuttle bus if needed. Room quite spacious and had everything you needed and a nice lawn area near our villa where you could sit and enjoy. Spacious rooms - simple but comfortable with cooking facilities. Lots of wild life (birds, ducks, rabbits). Bistro and Grill served delicious meals at reasonable prices. By car just 12 minutes from the airport and 6 minutes to Launceston / Cataract Gorge.
