The location, so close to St Kilda beach & shops. Only 10 or so mins by tram to Melbourne city centre. Being a backpackers', it was cheap, but comfy & very friendly. We only needed a bed & place to leave our luggage, so it suited us well. Rooftop BBQ, smokers' area. Cheap, but good breakfast around the corner. -

We had an enjoyable time. Staff great - very helpful, nothing too much trouble, room- very roomy, good size, comfortable, very clean, great quiet location, stones throw from everything. Will not be staying in city from now on , will be staying at Crest on Barkly. Wish I had known about this place years ago !

I have stayed at the Crest many, many times previously while studying at Swinburne University - a 5 minute drive from the Crest. Staff are always friendly and helpful, resturant meals.breakfast etc. very filling with a good variety and chef's will make to order. Very close to public transport including buses and Trams into the city and St. Kilda.

Loved the style of building.The garden was olde world and I loved that. The dining room was very comforting with the morning sun streaming in the huge windows. The sitting room was also welcoming and comfortable. Its proximity to Hawksburn shopping centre was very good as well as being opposite the Hawksburn Station as the trains were very regular

Excellent location. central for activities with plenty of transport options, lots of local cafes and shops, boats and harbour very pleasant too. Quiet in the apartment , plenty of space and all facilities such as washing machine tumble dryer, hairdryer. very helpful lady in reception too.

I liked my whole stay at Mint, all of one night, not nearly long enough.
Wished I could have stayed much longer. The place is impeccable we were
