Fantastic hostel, spotlessly clean, all staff incredibly friendly and full of great advice - also great pool, kitchen, free WiFi in reception (hard to find in Cairns) lovely spot at end of esplanade, pleasant 5-10 min walk along esplanade to city and free dinner at backpacker pub! The BED WAS AMAZING!! And for the price you pay compared to other Cairns based accommodation, it certainly is a great deal! The staff were lovely, particularly Yukiko! We didn't use the pool and are disappointed by that because it is a lovely modern area.

As first time visitors to Mackay we found the location very very handy - having the kitchen and accessories made eating a lot easier. Loved the basket and airer as it made washing easier. We hired a car & best part was the rental agency came to us (we did not need to find a way to them). We enjoyed out stay immensely.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Rydges Esplanade Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We checked in prior to 2pm due to a flight reschedule and even though the hotel was close to full the staff did everything they could to get us into our room as quickly as possible which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a mountain view room which had stunning views of Cairns at night. If your out during the day, I'd recommend this

We loved the quality for cost. This hotel/motel was very clean and well laid out (as good as a new building) with swimming pool, breakfast area with the option for a cooked meal - continental provided, spacious outdoor lounge and BBQ area.

Queen's Court had atmosphere. The areas for relaxing are plentiful, aesthetically pleasing and well designed. From the clean rooms equipped with TV, fridges, hair dryer, AC to the included breakfast, this hotel is very budget friendly. Although on a main thoroughfare our room was toward the back of the hotel and noise was not a problem. Exceptionally friendly staff concluded an excellent stay!
