Ideal for my one night in Brisbane. I liked the fact that the house was typically Queensland style & the girl on reception was really helpful advising me on where to go n wot2 do. 10min walk to ferry n river front. Private room was comfortable n had a tv, which felt like a luxury, pluss Free Wifi!!!. This place was really quiet n not for ppl who want2 party. I got off the plane at 12:00 at night, and had to leave at 04:00 in the morning to catch the plane out and the accomodation was very understanding of this.Also I was able to freely come and go each day, and no one had a problem. I had a great stay with Bowen Terrace and it was well located for me to get to know Brisbane.
wszystkie opinie » great !! and perfect accommodation. i had been 4days at here. reception women(maybe she's the boss)is very kindly and angel. hahah anyway, this room is very clean and safty. and perfect comfortable. there is not loud, very easy to used all of things. maybe if you hesitate now, don't worry you will stay like hotel. The location was quiet. Easy access to restaurants, shops, park, ferry. Well presented and spacious communal areas. Very clean and although I didn't actually get to meet the staff, my room was available exactly as described in a welcome email. I liked that the staff was friendly and helpful. The place was super clean. It was close to the city, but it was a quit place. Kitchen facilities, and bathroom facilities very clean and useful. For a Brisbane city visit, it's in a great location - away from all the noise and traffic, yet with both a bus and ferry to the city very close. Various places to sit - inside and outside. a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, the common facilities (living room, terrace, kitchen etc.), the availability and kindness of the staff. This was my second times to been there. It is so familiar environment and provide good service. I will back to there in someday. great location with great cafes and restaurants within walking distance ...could easily walk to city. good location, near the CBD but without the noise and very close from the famous story bridge. Clean. Comfortable lounge areas. Nice well equipped kitchen. Friendly, efficient staff. it is a nice homely place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Price, location, staff. Closeness to city. Position in relation to City and Ferry access. A lovely area just outside the City. Location is very close to bars and restaurants. I liked the location. nothing. Very little not to like for the solo traveller price. The hallway was creaky, which may disturb guests sleeping in rooms that are located along it. Earplugs would prob fix!! Street parking could be a bit tight for those with cars. In the 2-bed mixed dorm, there's only one light for the whole "dog-leg" dorm. The dog-leg shape is great - gives you a feeling of your own separate area but, if you want to stay up doing something late at night, with the light on, you feel like you are keeping the other person awake. It would be good if there was a reading light, or something, for each person. The fact that it is a backpacker accommodation should be more clearly advertised... i would not risk the noise again..also we chose because it was old and charming but ended up in a room closed in under the house that had 0 ambience.. disappointing. nothing. Could hear everyone who left in the early hours. some people coming home late an banging around an talking loud. Shared bathroom. noisy rooms due to old house, but I was aware of that ad still came back. A single room would be better. no fridge. Very noisy at night. Disturbed by people coming in during the night. You can hear every word from next doors room. hot room ceiling fans only, no aircon. It was not a b&b as stated it was a upmarket backpackers if that, and it should be advertised as this. Throughout the night it was constantly noisy from other guests and then were woken up at 5am from the remaining guests waking up, also on our last morning the fire alarm went off in the room at 7am briefly, for no apparent reason. Would not recommended anyone to stay here especially not at $125 a night.
