  Very impressed with the standard of the rooms. The rooms have been extremely well renovated with every comfort. The George also offers great dining facilities. The decor of the entire establishment was superb and accordingly periodic and very genuine. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.   Staff (owner) was amazing. There was a smell in iur room, we went down to tell her, immediately we were moved. She apologised that the new apartment wasn't as good (actually it was better) she was friendly and welcoming. She gave great advice if where to eat in town. Apartment had washer and dryer which was great. Excellent for travelling between Adelaide and Melbourne. Receptionist was particularly kind and helpful. Due to have a baby soon!!

  Judy and Anthony made us feel wecome from the moment we walked through the door, nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were spacious and the spa was an added luxury that did not disappoint. We ate at the Japanese restaurant attached to the motel and the staff were outstanding.   My Wife & I found the Best Western Lake Inn to be a very friendly, clean and relaxing stay for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The area was quiet but close to many of Ballarat's attractions.
