  Very close to beach, and marina, shops, places to eat ( great variety to choose from) public transport. A supermarket and bakery were within a few minutes walk and there were lovely big parks across the road and at the side of the block. The pool and spa were great, warm without being too hot. Staff at the oaks were technically fully booked but found us a terrific 9th floor apartment with great views for our entire 5 day stay (and serviced daily.

Stay there for meals and one can skip the ones at more picturesque Windy Points. - The hotel is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff were particularly friendly and efficient. Food was innovative, tasty and attractively presented. Excellent live music in foyer. Convenient location - good for shops, museums and walking along the river bank - green surroundings in minutes.   From the moment we arrived until that when we left we were made to feel welcome and valued. The staff were most attentive, but at the same time unobtrusive, and carried out their duties in a most professional manner. The room was comfortable and contained everything that we needed. The restaurant was first class - and even though I have a food ... co mówią ludzie » intolerance issue the staff were sufficiently caring to ensure that I did not suffer any ill effects. - The location is very convenient to town and major tram routes. Nice décor with an old-world feel in the lobby and public areas. The rooms are not huge, but perfectly adequate for a couple. Staff were attentive and helpful without being obtrusive. The Restaurant (and the service there) is excellent. Was only there for a shortish business break so didn't use the pool/gym and can't comment on those.

  We loved this hotel! The room was the nicest we have ever stayed in due to it's size, the balcony, facilities and decor. It had a great view of the city and was located right in the CBD (perfect for a work or city trip). The lifts were always quick and are a bit fancy. Nice tea and coffee selection. Bathrobes and slippers a nice touch. Great customer service when we needed maintenance in our room (bathroom doors off runners).

I was a bit perturbed about being met in the street as the apartment I was in was not administered by the reception or management of the building, but this did not prove to be any issue at all in the end. A short walk to all that I needed to do. The highlight was the service from the owners. The price is the same as a hotel room but you have the luxury of a beautiful big apartment with a spa and wonderfully appointed kitchen. I will stay again.
