  The staff were great & our 5th floor maid, Ruth, was very friendly & professional. No smoking rooms, but, there are ash trays provided outside on every balcony for you. Our efficiency was fully stocked with silverware, dishes, glasses, coffee maker, full size fridge, stove/range, & microwave oven, even dish soap! Very clean place &... hva folk sier » no insects! I had compared prices on other web site - This hotel has an excellent location close to the beach and boardwalk. It is on the north side of the boardwalk, so it is quiet and away from the main part of it, which is nice (especially at night). Staff was very friendly. Hotel has some wear and tear (it is old, like most hotels in oc) but overall clean. We didn't spend a lot if time in our room anyway. The size of the room (we had two double beds only) was average. I got an excellent discounted price, making the hotel an excellent value wit

  I loved the location and the staff. We had one minor problem, couldn't get our hot water to work in our room. The manager immediately upgraded us to another room. Everything we needed was very close to the hotel, food, shopping, the beach, the boardwalk, even a grocery store which is important with small children. I would definatly go back again. ... hva folk sier » - location was great. beds and pillows were the best I have ever slept on in any hotel. friendly and helpful staff. pool was great. ice was plentiful. very quiet. outlets were just up the road. many restaurants around and shopping. must go to peppers on stephen decantur rd, best nachos we ever had.
