  The location in the Garden District was within walking distance of the lovely antebellum mansions and great restaurants. The streetcar was right outside our door. It was a 20 minute ride to the French Quarter. The neighbourhood was quiet after the noisy hustle and bustle of all the sights of downtown New Orleans.and safe for an morning stroll. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return in a - We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

  Everyone so friendly and helpful. Even had a valet employee go across the street to try and get me a map when i needed directions. Front desk employee worked above and beyond to let us move to an adjoining room with our friends when stayed a second night. Waitress in cafe very helpful and buffet was great. We will be back with more friends. Thanks... hva folk sier » ! - We stayed one night stay in this outstanding hotel. The room was spacious. The bathroom was large with a tub/shower and a separate shower. The bed was very comfortable. The exterior, lobby, restaurants, restrooms and casino were very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and quite helpful. The value was very, very good.
