  The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are well finished. The hotel is well-located in town, near all the shops and amenities in Manitou Springs. We stayed in a studio and found it to have everything we needed and plenty of space. I didn't try out the heated toilet seat though. Dinner in the hotel restaurant is to be recommended. The food is ... hva folk sier » great and the wine list extensive. We chose a wine from Colorado, with the sommelier's help, and it proved to be great. - The hotel is excellent. It is a bit expensive with add on charges (just tell me the price and don't hand me a bunch of service fees that are nothing more than a higher price for the room disguised as tips for the staff-I am pretty sure the staff never see a penny of the service fees). This hotel is really clean, quiet, has an excellent staff and an excellent restaurant(s).

  The price is what caught my attention. It was not even $42/night! My girlfriend and I were on a tight budget, and this was a great compliment to our trip to co. The room was perfect for the both of us. A hot shower felt great, and a nice air conditioned atmosphere was wonderful. We were close to all the rest - The staff were great-not one grumpy staff person, and many helpful. Candy is a keeper, and not the only one. She was better than any concierges in Vegas hotels. Drawing maps, giving help when our Subaru needed repair. She keeps an 'even keel' with guests, a skill set that isn't easy to come by, based on my experience observing many hotels/motels while working as a job coach with Voc Rehab.

  The view is fantastic! The restaurant serves wonderful food, again, with a spectacular view of the mountains. I took a swim in their heated outdoor pool, and while it was brisk, it still felt fantastic. Again, a great view of the mountains.
