Situated on 1 acre of gardens, this 1904 inn features a charming gazebo, free Wi-Fi and a gourmet breakfast. The Biltmore Estate, a historic home with gardens and a winery, is 15 minutes’ drive away. A flat-screen cable TV and ironing facilities are found in all the rooms of the North Lodge on Oakland. The bright rooms have country decor and an ensuite bathroom. Some rooms offer a gas fireplace. A parlour with a fireplace is available for guest use at the Oakland North Lodge Asheville. A second common area featuring stone walls offers views of the gardens. A business centre is also found on site. A 3-course breakfast is served daily and features homemade muffins and breads. Freshly baked cookies and pastries are served each afternoon. Beverages including coffee, tea, and cider are available throughout the day. The Blue Ridge Parkway, popular for hiking, picnics and scenery, is 20 minutes’ drive away. The unique shopping boutiques and local dining establishments of historic Central Asheville is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the Inn.

We were in Asheville to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway and to visit Biltmore House, so North Lodge was just the perfect location for this. Tina was an excellent hostess, nothing was too much trouble. We particularly liked the fact that the breakfast menu was put out for the following day, giving guests the opportunity to ask for an alternative option if required. Quiet, relaxation, very friendly and accommodating owners. Close to everything, Biltmore House, shopping, restaurants and sites. The very best B&B in Asheville, nc. Would very highly recommend to young and old alike.

Oh - the breakfasts... Excellent!!!. First time we've stayed in a B&B in 25+ years! Loved the house & very friendly helpful owners. Joining other guests for gourmet breakfasts in the dining room was a real treat. Not far from downtown. Greg, our host was great. Breakfasts were out of this world. Location was convenient to downtown and Biltmore Estates. Room was clean and comfortable. Other guests were friendly and engaging. We appreciated the cleanliness of North Lodge and the quietness. We enjoyed the grounds during the day. Also, there were maps and guides to the city with copies of menu's to check out. The room was lovely, roomy, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. The owners made us feel welcome and were very friendly. This is a beautiful B & B. Tina is an excellent host! She made us feel right at home. Breakfast was tasty and beautifully displayed. The rooms were emmaculate. The lodge is minutes from everything. Greg (proprietor) and Tina were extremely attentive to every detail during our stay. Lodge website directions much better and more direct. Not a thing!. There really wasn't anything that we did not like. There was nothing to dislike. If I could change one thing, I would pick the house up and place it on a different street. On the same note... The street was quiet and once inside the lodge you pay no attention to the street location. nothing not to like!. Can't think of a thing. Nothing comes to mind or worth mentioning. Nothing. I had problem finding it and it was difficult to come from downtown and find the Inn but maybe after doing it several time it would easier. I do think that some of the difficulty may revolve around Ashville. There was nothing to complain about. I can't think of a thing. many steps. Lack of closet space. Nothing. Did not get the room that was requested and believed that were promised.
