The convenient location was the best part; a short walk to Disneyland. The pool and spa were great for winding down. Not being from the area, we got lost trying to find the hotel using the freeway system. We were a few hours overdue and when Claudia at the hotel front desk knew we needed more help after calling, she had her husband (who was very familiar with the area we were lost in) assist us with further direction. Distance was awesome. 5min walk to front gate of Disneyland depending on how long you have to wait at the 2 crosswalks. Staff was very friendly and could tell me where everything was that I was looking for. Rooms were very comfortable and we were supplied ample pillows without even asking. Beds were comfortable and housekeeping came by during the day, even without requesting it, to make the beds and bring fresh towels. Looks like the rooms had been recently renovated and everything was very new.
We stayed in the family suite. There were 6 of us and we had 3 beds so
we all slept comfortably. The staff was extreamly nice. Check in is
normally 3pm but they gave us our room at 10am which was great after the
long drive. We also recieved a coupon upon check out for $20 off our
next stay, which we have 6 months to use. The walk to breakfast and the
park were only about 5 minutes which made it very convienient for us.
The room we stayed in was recently remodeled, and was very nice. Comfortable mattress, lots of pillows, new/clean furniture. I liked having the mini-fridge and microwave. And, of course, it is very close to Disney, and is an easy walk to the parks and Downtown Disney. There are lots of restuarants around and markets if you need anything. It was a great price for such a great location.
Loved this place! Stayed four nights with my two adult and three younger children for our family holiday. Loved that it was a castle and so did my three yr old! It was super close to Disneyland! Plenty of takeaway and shops very close too. It was budget friendly and spacious and fun to stay in. Would definitely do it all again!.
Room was large for a family of five. Second basin in bedroom was handy as there was only one bathroom. Lots of options for food near-by. Everything is within easy walking distance. When we reported to staff on last day about some items we found from previous traveller, front office responded appropriately.
The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure we didn't have any questions. They are doing some renovations and asked if we would like a second floor room to avoid the noise. They gave us extra towels for the pool, and actually found a shirt one of the boys left at the pool the night before.
Rooms were very clean and updated. The pictures on this site need to be
updated to show the remodeled rooms, very nice. My grandkids loved that
they were staying in a castle. It was very close to theme parks, we
walked to it with 3 grandkids.
The hotel was much better than we expected. It is in a perfect location right across the road from Disneyland. Has just gone through a major renovation and is excellent value for what you pay. Very friendly staff and highly recommended.
Great location being a short walk from Disneyland and restaurants. The room was spacious and had all the essentials, fridge, microwave and quiet a/c.... Staff were friendly and helpful, I would recommend Castle Inn and Suites to anyone.
It's not a 5 star hotel, obviously, but I felt we definitely got a great bargain. It was comfortable, clean, and very close to the park (the only reason anyone stays here is for disneyland), less than a 10 minute walk.
The hotel was located very close to Disneyland and was very clean and
well maintained for an older hotel, built in 1984.I said yes to question
5 but I would look at a differant hotel just because of the theaft.
the rooms were very clean. i am allergic to cigarrete smoke and some hotels say no-smoking room but you can still smell it on the blankets and carpet. not at Castle Inn. i had a good sleep every night.
They had a handi cap chair for the bath tub. My sister is in a wheel chair and the cleaning staff would move out of the way when we would pass through. The staff was so friendly. I loved our stay.
The rooms are beautiful! I stayed at Castle Inn in 2008. When I opened my room door this time, I was amazed at the change that had taken place. The rooms were wonderful, clean and elegant.

It was across the road from Disneyland Anaheim and the Facade was themed as a Castle which the Children liked. It was a spacious family suite, with a fridge etc.

microwaves, and have free parking. Was within walking distance of
Disneyland.
Every thing it was the best hotel i aver stayed and all about the room i love it is so comfortable and it's really really really close to Disneyland.
the suite was great, all new and soo quiet and comfy. I had 3 teenage girls with me. They had their own bedroom with 2 x queen beds, tv and VANITY.
The hotel is within very short walk to the maingate of Disneyland and their renovations make the already reasonable rates that much more amazing.evrything was so great...! howfolly see you soon. it was only 2hrs. drive from south of the the country. thanks for evrything.
Location to Disneyland was great....about 2.5 blocks. Store on site for
drinks/snacks. Friendly desk staff. Room clean and updated.

The price is perfect, the proximity to Disneyland is spot on, and the staff bend over backwards to help with whatever you need.
Position. Room was a good size. Beds really comfortable and large. Lots
of eateries around the area and access to car rentals.

The hotel room was outdated (there was some renovating occurring on the top floor) and the bathroom could have used some cosmetic work. The bed pillows were very lumpy, which to me means they are very old or not of good quality. Each time a guest in the room above us walked, there was a very loud/annoying creak in our ceiling-maybe that can be fixed with little effort.
Not a lot of parking for bigger vehicles or for the amount of rooms
they have.
Somehow the shower curtain wouldn't stop water from leaking on the floor, but it was not really a problem.
My only complaint was no Internet in our room. Wanted to upload photos for family back in Aus and do banking etc, but had to go to office to get reception. Even without Internet this place was still super, and I would definitely chose it again.

The renovations blocked off some of the parking, so we had to park a bit away from our room. Once that is finished, I think those problems will be solved.

i am not an early riser. the front desk called to move my car because they needed the space for repairs. they called at 8 am i dont ussually wake up until 1pm and i even tell the housekeepers not to disturb.
Our bath tub had hair in the drain, it was gross.

Couldn't get to sleep the first night due to cheerleaders in the 3 rooms in a row from our room.

The price seemed high compared to the coupon price you could use depending on availability. Seems the "criteria" should be more clear on coupon for the 68$/night when I paid 100$ more then that. Seems almost as though its to get you to want to stay there but the coupon is close to impossible to use it seems.
There was not an information book in our room. I didn't know where the ice machines were and I had no map to show me. I had to call the office to find them and get WiFi info. The infor books are handy to have.
I did not like the rugs, I think you could have them better, that is all regarding the room.
The furniture and other items in room were old and jaded and showing need of repair.
WiFi was very slow, if it worked at all in our rooms. When mentioned to
staff, they said it was being worked on and should be running for the
whole property by the end of the month. Didn't help us, but good to
know for next time.

No breakfast, coffee was gross. The stairs to the 3rd floor are inconvenient. Construction was happening when we were there. The people running on the landing in front of our door was really loud, and we had a baby whom needed his sleep.
I know that they are upgrading the rooms. Too bad the carpets were filthy and very worn, the decor was really old and the towels were rough to use. The curtains did not keep the bright lights out of the room. I have a very hard time sleeping with so much light.

No breakfast Most of the hotels offer free coffee/tea and pastries and fruit for their guests. Some even a full buffet. We actually changed our hotel which had a full breakfast to yours in order to be in walking distance of the convention center. But we really missed starting our day out with food in the tummy!.

The only complaint would be the lack of breakfast, but the room had a fridge and microwave, so we shopped at the ABC market over the road and self catered. That's a very minor gripe. Overall, we were delighted with the hotel.
