The Burj al Arab is beyond compare when it comes to service and a feeling of absolute luxury. We ate at the al mahara seafood restaurant which is worth the trip alone, but the butler service and hotel staff go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect , which is was the whole time we were there. - this is something special

Conveniently located to Dubai Mall - our 5 year old walked there without a problem, and 3 year old rode in a pushchair. - The hotel was immaculate, the service friendly, and the rooms were very comfortable and well fitted-out. First time in Dubai so we wanted to stay in the old town. Room was spacious and bed very comfortabe, with AC. The location was great, 3min walk to the Deira Palm Metro (Very easy to figure out). 10-15min walk to the gold souks. The Double Decker tour bus collected us at 9:30am from the hotel.
