I loved the friendly welcome and comfortable stay and the morning
breakfast - free of formalities. I had made special requests at the time
of booking which were arranged with a smile and generosity. The most
helpful thing was a free lift and lovely company to Crew train station
(at an hour distance) by John - the owner, in a bad weather (full of
snow). I must say a big thanks to John and really appreciated. Will
definitely stay again. alle vurderinger »

Breakfast good, and staff (proprietors?) friendly and helpful. Nice old fashioned hotel. Easy walk to get into countryside and bus routes, or into centre of Wrexham for trains or pubs.
Personal attention, a clean room, a comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. Also, I was allowed to park at the hotel during the following day with an offer for changing facilities.

Friendly staff, lovely little dog. Good breakfast, comfy bed. Free parking and wi fi. Great garden, a bit overgrown but attracts lots of birds which is a great sight whilst having breakfast. Lots of small rooms with classic old furniture. I would definitely stay again if in the area, great value for money.
Two Edwardian houses were combined to make one big bed & breakfast and it is charming. There is a garden with a koi pond in the back. The breakfast area is a large and pretty conservatory.
Friendly host
Decent shower
Very good coffee in room
Comfortable bed
Modern TV
Good breakfast.
Really friendly host. Breakfast was lovely.
Cheap and did the job fine.
Location, lovely old house.
Breakfast.
The untimely snow which caused the trip go wasted, unfortunately.
No negatives.
Dog in breakfast area.lovley little dog, loved him in the bar,but not whilst eating breakfast.
The wifi although excellent in the restaurant area, did not function in my room which was at the back of the hotel.
Didn't mind, but rather old fashioned décor, perhaps needs updating and de cluttering.
No evening meals available. I was looking forward to the occasional dinner during my stay. But plenty of local food-pubs.
Some parts of house a little jaded and parts of dining room a little cluttered/untidy (eg ironing board left out on show) but fine on the whole.
The wifi was a bit hit and miss.
Breakfast was good but could be better.
nothing in particular.
nothing.
I had contacted the hotel to request ground floor room, but when we arrived there were no ground floor rooms available. I was very disappointed as my disabled partner had to struggle with the stairs.
double bed rather small for 2 adults.
Old style furniture in bedroom.
nothing to dislike.
no evening restuarant.
Rooms were a bit old & tired just needed a like of paint.
Dark wallpaper made room look small.
There were dog droppings on the garden patio. The garden and the garden furniture needed maintenance. The interior carpets in the rooms were dirty and there was black mold on the tiles in the bath. The whole place needed a thorough update and cleaning. Then it would be fantastic.
Dirty mark on bed linen
Mould in bathroom plus spiders in top corners.
Maybe a hairdryer in the room would be nice.
Stayed in a rather small double room, which needed refurbishing, but as it was only for 1 night it was OK.
Arrived approx. 7 pm to find our room had been let even though they had
our booking and debit card. Believe they sold it at a higher rate. Owner
was not very friendly booked us into another hotel for our first night
.Tried to charge us £80 for that night when the cost was £60.Owner tried
to make out he did not know when he had already paid the hotel. He did
try to be friendly on the Sunday when we left but our weekend was
completely spoilt on the Saturday.
