  Stayed here on the way to Glastonbury festival last week, ideal location about 40mins away from site. axebridge is lovely little village with everything you need in one square, ideal hotel, clean and faultless! More importantly the staff went above and beyond for us, the girls at reception were really helpful (sorry didn't take their names), even ... hva folk sier » helping us with directions for the following day, was handy havin a local's point of view! Seriously can't stress how impressed we were with this plac - This B & B is lovely. The staff and food make this place shine. The design/decor is tasteful and compliments the age and style of the building. The restaurant food is complex, tasty and although portions sizes are small, because of the richness in the food it is sure to fill you up! The wine list is very reasonable and there is a good selection of wines to choose from. We would defiantly stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

  Steve and Mandy were warm and friendly and helpful, treated us like family. Bedroom was large, high ceilings, mirrors in right places, plus a very comfy couch, flat screen TV with all the channels you will want, kettle, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and even biscuits and an extremely comfortable bed. Our room had a separate bathroom just for our us... hva folk sier » e across hallway. The bathroom was large with a very attractive and beautiful wood floor. It was well equipped and bright. Breakfast was a feast of f - Wonderful hospitality from the owners, Steve and Mandy. We were late by hours to check in at the time we told them we would, but they were so accommodating and waited for us. The house was more than lovely. There wasn't a corner that didn't amaze us. Room was comfortable and pretty. Breakfast was heavenly and scrumptious! Even the little garden was so inviting to just sit there and watch the time slips by. We wish we could spend more nights there!
