What a fantastic guest house this is. Sharon and Angela could not be more welcoming and attentive. So warm and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the lovely beach and picturesque harbour. Sharon and Angela made such an effort to help all their guests with their plans for the day, their local knowledge is brilliant and a real help to those of us who had very little knowledge of the area. Greenwood is a lovely guesthouse, with beautiful rooms and great location, just a few minutes walk from beach & shopping and easy access with the car. Very comfy beds, lovely garden and a fantastic breakfast! Sharon and Angela are just amazing - warm and welcoming, they really go that extra mile for their guests. Our daughter had been sick the night before we arrived, and they did everything to make her feel better and took genuine concern in her recovery. We stayed 3 nights and continued o.
Simply a remarkable place to stay. Close to the beach, the town and the train station. Also within very close proximity to bus stops for day trips to neighboring highlights like Abbotsbury, Portland, Lulworth cove, etc, and acts as an easy location to visit the Tank Museum from. On top of that, you get an amazingly cooked english breakfast to your liking with tea or coffee. Most importantly however is the staff, Sharon and Angela. Two very friendly people eager to help you make your trip to Wey.
In the Greenwood guest house, I felt really as a guest and it became my house for a week.
Sharon and Angela are so nice people, helpful and friendly. They are the perfects hosts, their breakfast is amazing. We had many problems while working in the area and they sincerely helped us to solve them. We had plenty of good discussions too and that makes it like if we knew each other from before. In brief, Sharon and Angela gave sense to the word guest house. I spent an unforgettable week with them.
me and my mom stayed at the greenwood guest house the end of june for 5 nights,Sharon and angela were perfect hosts , made us to feel at home. loved the the finer details like wine glasses in our room after we told Sharon we liked a tipple or two!! rooms were so comfy and cozy. breakfast amazing. we shall be back!! we shall miss sharons laugh every morning!.
We stayed 2 nights in Oct with our 9 year old daughter. Weymouth is a treasure and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Hospitality, friendliness and support at the Guesthouse are really great. A place we plan to return to.
All very friendly and helpful staff with lots of useful information and advice from Sharon throughout our stay. Lovely breakfasts to set us up for our days adventures. Brilliant break.
A most welcoming house with a warm atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble and attention to detail was outstanding.
