Rooms comfortable and clean, plenty of soft pillows, catered for client needs, providing extra heating fan although this was not required as the hotel was very warm. Also cooling fan to cater for those who did not require so much heat. We felt reassured that although we could come and go as we please there was always someone available if we needed them.Entertainment each evening if you wanted. Staff very helpful and the meals were very good. alle vurderinger »

The location is excellent, an easy stroll along the sea front, or to the shops, and handy for buses to a number of locations in the area. Room was always serviced to a great standard. Location was good and staff were friendly. pleasant atmosphere and great staff. Pleasant bar/lounge area and live entertainment, ease of access to rooms in a sizeable hotel, good value food well presented. The staff made me feel very welcome and John the restaurant manager really looked after me as a single eighty plus on my own. Friendly staff and very helpful.Great location, friendly staff. Helpfullness of the staff. The staff were very helpfull and the Hotel was easy to get to and close to town. The Hotel offerred nightly entertainment in the bar.the fact that It was for grown ups so no children. the location
more suited to mature couples. Good breakfast some friendly staff??. Proximity to the beach.location.room.service. The sea view room was fabulous but i'm sure i could have got the same view in a much cheaper Hotel and saved myself £100.just the lack of parking facilities.Spoilt holiday slightly. the only down fall to my stay was the car parking very small and restricted if you went out for the day it was impossible to re-park at hotel and roads nearby were very restrictive only one hour free parking unles you had a permit. we did not know a turkey and tensel event was going on the entertainment was for more elderly people, so we didn't stay in the hotel in the evenings. Lift was very slow and no water pressure for a shower on the 3rd floor. difficulty in finding room. air conditioning would be helpful, in the rooms, and especially in the basement.shame about the road out side bit noisey, two singel beds pushed to gether, could do with a bigger shower, floor tiles in bath room loose, smoke alarm missing, stain on ceiling wall. Reception not full time ,awkward carpark, cramped dining.the walls in our room were very thin and noise was a big problem. we could hear the people in the next room talking quietly! so did put a damper on the weekend as it was supposed to be a little mini honeymoon! but considering the price we were pleased with the hotel. we even had staff knock our door to refresh tea and coffee on the sunday when there is no room cleaning service. Although I did ask for a double bed we got 2 singles pushed together, this was not a major problem though. The shower in our room was at best a joke. Poor lighting level in room, regimented restaurant arrangements for private guests. Would have liked the bar to be open earlier, especially in winter. The car park was limited and tight for parking!. The stair carpet leading from the rear hotel car park up to thereception area was in a very poor, tatty and dangerous condition givinga bad first impression of the hotel I had booked into.found the female waitress quite rude on first day breakfast asked where to sit was told ask him over there. on our 2nd morning we arrived in the restaurant at 09.30 (the end time for breakfast) but the chef refused to cook any more breakfasts. The waitng staff were very apologetic and told us to mention it to the reception staff which we did. Apparently that particular chef is not very agreeable!!. Bearing in mind the above, why did it cause major problems to get beans on toast for breakfast? Funny smell (similar to an old people's home) in the reception. The lift was unbelievable - it was so slow that we walked to the 2nd floor on one occasion and saved nearly 2 minutes (one of us went in the lift and we timed it)! The windows were not double glazed, so we found the traffic noise at nigh. my car being moved without my permission. The lift was very slow and with so many elderly people this was causing much frustration. Not enough car parking facilities,. very hot rooms. Limited car parking. When we stayed there, the bar was too crowded. The shower was very very slow. Resterant food. I am a tall man.My feet stuck out the end of the bed and the double bed was the size of a single one. There was no heating in the room it was very cold. Beds were uncomfortable and some reception staff lacked manners. My 78 yr old aunt who is terminally ill was given a room on 3rd floor where the lift went to 2nd floor and she had to walk 2 flights of stairs, despite my telephoning the hotel directly after booking with you. Her room was changed after the first night. Most staff very good but a couple of young ones lacked politeness. The shower in my room didn't work after 1st night, Boiler was repaired. The lift to upper floors VERY slow!!! It was good to have access to a parking space but cars are parked in such a way that staff in the hotel need to move them around to let people out.The noise from the room above was at times unbearable, creaking floorboards when people above moved around which they seemed to do all the time. Dining room felt very institutionalised, separate tables would have beenmuch pleasanter.breakfast was not great and a bit busy due to catering for coach parties. Our door was over the exit to the car park , we heard banging doors most of the time. I did not like arriving at the hotel to be told they did not have my booking and were full. Upon further investigation by the Manager, they found the the desk staff had not looked for web bookings, and therefore had no record of mine. Because of this we had to make do with the only free room, which overlooked the car park and not the sea view we had requested!!. I thought the hotel was very expensive for Bed and Breakfast.
