  I was travelling solo on two business appointments in different locations and wanted to fit in a visit to Petworth House. Also required somewhere informal and non-corporate. Looking online the White Horse Sutton matched all these requirements and was very reasonably priced. It has to be borne in mind that this is a pub with no dedicated receptionist (the good value price r - We were the only guests but they were very welcoming and friendly. Even though it was quiet there was a lovely atmosphere. The bedrooms are all a good size with large bathrooms and interestingly decorated. The food and wine were good. They've managed the modern touch without ruining the original style of the place.
