  The staff were very friendly and professional, and we were welcomed warmly. The room (China) was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with a huge bathroom with both bath and shower. The rooms were wonderful. We were so taken with the hotel, we extended our stay - which the staff managed for us perfectly. The restaurant was excellent, and a nice place for an evening. The bar likewise, good ales and wine, and the atmosphere of a good pub (with a great terrace too, if the sun's shining) - perfect. The breakfasts were great too.

  Really loved the park hotel. Lovely decor with two lounges and a nice bar. Bar meals very reasonably priced. We were upgraded from a standard room to a family room on arrival, room no 3 which was really nice with lovely views of the harbour. Outside nice seating area with the view. The hotel in my opinion is the best positioned hotel in Tenby lovel - Staff were very obliging. Beakfast was served to you which is a novelty these days and all the staff were polite, helpful and had time for a word with you. Would not suit any one disabled because there were a lot of steps, despite there being a lift, the steps needed negoiating for reception breakfast etc. The view at the hotel over Tenby was a 10 out of 10 but you need to appreciate the hotel is positioned on a hill so you need to be able to walk up and down to get in to Tenby and back.

  We arrived early for our stay and the staff did everything to get our accommodation ready.We had a warm welcome from the staff who were all very friendly. We stayed in the Dovecotes which was ample accommodation for my daughters and myself. The property had everything you could need . The weather couldn't have been any b - The facilities are well thought out , the free dvd loans, the pool the out door facilities for the children. The safe enviroment, the restaurant was very welcoming & very good with the children, we got there after reception was closed & were told to go straight to our bungalow where a warm atmosphere greeted us with local radio playing & side lights on. Lovely start to our break.

  Everything was outstanding, we have'nt stopped in the giltar for a few years, but on our arrival I was amazed at how different it was. It said on the web site that it was being refurbished, it was stunning. And it was all brand new. The staff are all really friendly. And the breakfast was amazing. Everything about our stay - We love Tenby and normally stay in another hotel but went for Giltar this time. Hotel is lovely, and in middle of refurbing the rooms which will make all the differecne when all rooms are upgraded. We, unfortunately did not have one of these rooms, but we did have a sea view. Breakfast was very nice, good quality foods, excellent staff service and good coffee!!

  We arrived slightly earlier than check-in time and were given our room immediately. Even though its on a main road and has a railway behind, we weren't disturbed by any noise. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The whole place looked like it was very well cared for and had an attractive decor. We hadn't booked breakfast for the following morning but the staff had no problem accommo - Good parking, warm welcome. Nice size room and bathroom, clean and not dated. Good breakfast and evening meal with plenty of room between tables. All on one level so no stairs to climb. Bus and trains into the town just a short walk away. A taxi into town for not much more than two train or bus tickets so the car had a holiday, bonus. A customer orientated, dynamic and focused family run hotel. A gem of a hotel.

The hostel looked a little 'retro' from the outside but inside is modern with very good facilities (what looked to be brand new shower rooms etc).   Staff were really friendly and helpful, there was a good atmopsphere in all areas of the hotel. I left my phone charger in my room on departure and they were great about sending it on to me, very efficient! The all staff were friendly as were the locals. We arrived back at 00.45 and were still abl - Staff always friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them to do. Food excellent with local produce and fish caught daily. All meals cooked whilst you wait with generous portions. Rooms very comfortable with genuine features as this inn was a farmhouse about 200 years ago. Will be going back for another stay next summer and would happily recommend this inn. There is plenty to do and see within about a 25 minute drive. Scenery magnificent.
