  Nice and spacious rooms. Lovely food. - The smell of the log fire burning was so welcoming as it was very cold outside. The lounge where we sat and enjoyed a pre dinner drink was cosy and attractive although I would have liked to rearrange a couple of the sofas to look at the fire! The restaurant - Staff went out of their way to be friendly and co... hva folk sier » operative, the food was exquisite and we enjoyed it very much. - We loved thee hotel, the room was excelent, the location fabulous with lovely felltop views - even the M6 can look romantic(!), the food was delicious and beautifully presnted and the service was second to none. Love the Sedburgh Soaps toiletries provided and bought some before we left.
