  Perfect location for walking in the Dales, especially if you want to completely forget about wind/rain etc once you're done trekking. Food was excellent, good drinks selection and by far the nicest place to eat or drink in Settle backed up with great staff! I arrived late, just when the restaurant was about to close. No problem, "have your shower", which I did, and my fish and chips were waiting for me when I came back down!

  Was nice and quiet which was a bonus after the Xmas mayhem for relaxing. Staff and food were excellent. Room was very clean with a lovely view. Last stayed here 19 years ago and enjoyed my recent visit as much as I did then. - Very friendly and helpful staff. relaxing atmosphere. Good food. Room and on-suite excellent.   A lovely hotel with a relaxed atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble and a fantastic breakfast. The owners, Paul and Jenny Reynolds are incredibly focused. I wish this family run business every success and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. - Comfortable, friendly hotel with good food.
