  The grainary is amazing, can't wait to go again, you are in the middle of the countryside and wake up to birds singing and overlooking the animals and fields, a true break from reality, my children aged 14 and 6 could not have been happier, they loved the play room and had some fab long walks around the farm petting the super friendly animals as w... hva folk sier » e went, I could not recommend this place highly enough and the staff always had time for a little chat with the children, also only a short very sceni - The Grainary is a working farm, with a B&B on the side, so if you like the atmosphere of a farm, off on the edge of the moors, you'll love it. Children are especially well catered for, as they have every imaginable farm animal in the fields near the house, plus dogs, rabbits, a ferret and certainly one or two I've missed. The animals are friendly and approachable, needless to say. The couple running the place are warm, smiling and welcoming, and made us feel very much at home. There are ple

  From the minute we entered the Hotel we were overwhelmed with the ambience and service that we paid for. It was our first time to the Palm Court . We took advantage of their "Come Dine with us" offer which included a bottle of wine. All staff were exceptional, FOOD EXCELLENT!! Room was a good size , spotlessly clean with all the ammenities you c... hva folk sier » ould ask for, Breakfast ended on a high with a wonderful buffet with kippers recommended by the charming waitress. We received free parking, excell - All the staff were excellent and welcoming. The entrance, bar and lounge have been recently renovated and look far better than 7 years ago when I last stayed here. The lift is ‘Quirky’ with a certain old fashioned charm. Redecoration has just started on the staircase (Nov 2013) and I am sure it will be better for the work. The location for shopping is excellent and the hotel has its own secure underground car park, although it is a short walk from the hotel. The food is the best in Scarborough.
