The owners and the staff were among the best people I ever met while taking care of customers at hotels ... - We especially enjoyed the full English breakfast. Being able to put all 4 of us in a single room was also helpful.

Was a bit unsure about this hotel after reading some of the reviews and
the fact a Chinese restaurant was attached to it. However the facilities
were excellent. Room was clean with fresh towels daily, breakfast
offered various choice and was presented well (my husband is very fussy
about his fried eggs but had nothing to complain about) I had thou

surprised that this was not the case. The staff were friendly but not

We have stayed at the Churchill several times, mainly chosen for location to family we visit. But it is good value, good sized rooms, great Chinese restaurant and good English breakfast.
There was a problem with the shower, but the manager/owner went out of his way to rectify it, even though the hotel was full. The next day, when he should have been off, he came in to make sure we were moved to another room, which was actually bigger. They always give good service.
