We LOVED the Risley Guest House! The room was beautifully decorated with fresh and cheerful colors and so very clean. Wonderful fluffy towels and a modern bathroom were an added bonus! Also the down pillows and very comfortable mattress were great for sleeping. Sarah is an awesome and gracious hostess and her hot English breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed it very much! Risley Guest House is actually more beautiful and updated than the pictures below show. alle vurderinger »
Sarah was incredibly welcoming and generous with accommodating my friend
and myself with four year old daughter at short notice. It was lovely to
be allowed to relax in the garden, enjoy the play equipment and stroll
100yards to a friendly pub. It's very close to m1 great place to
stopover for a few nights, we found it hard to leave.
Location was perfect to visit family. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the bedding was laundered well and was very comfortable. The rooms are well furnished and not cluttered. Sarah met us and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast hit the mark with an excellent full English. Overall a superb stay and we will be coming back.
The guest house is extremely good value for money. The owner is really friendly and has decorated the rooms to a very high standard. There is a lovely pub next door for an evening meal. Breakfast was of a really high standard and take in a conservatory overlooking fields. Highly recommended for any type of traveller.
Nice location, nice and compact yet with everything one needed for a couple of days B&B.
Sarah the owner was very accommodating even purchasing a rubber shower mat for my elderly Mother when she mentioned there wasn't one.How good was that?Couldn't fault anything would recommend Risley Guest House.
Sarah is a wonderful hostess .The buildings have been wonderfully converted. The rooms are tastefully decorated .The beds are comfortable . Breakfast in the conservatory looking out on the garden was excellent. The guest house is ideally situated for either countryside or city activities.

Lovely area. Nice room and all rooms are ground floor which I really like. The rooms are very clean and well decorated, couldn't fault the room we had. Breakfast was really nice and good value for money. The owner is very friendly and made us feel welcome.
It felt really nice to have your own little cottage. It felt nice and private. It was a nice touch to have good quality glasses and mugs and lots of coffee and biscuits! The pub down the road does great food and there is a bus stop right outside it.
The beds were most comfortable and the duvets thick and fluffy. Lovely, clean room and nice and warm on a chilly evening. Breakfast was delicious and there were a variety of choices. We were made to feel very welcome.
Everything!
Beautifully decorated, scrupulously clean and the owner could not have been more welcoming and caring. I travel a great deal and would love to stay again...and again. Would highly recommend. Fabulous!.
Location just off M1.
Breakfast was delicious. Home made muesli included!
Dining room looking out into the garden.
Even though it was May, the central heating was on. I appreciated that.
Quiet and cosy.
Warm welcome, pleasant, comfortable room with lovely little touches, such as the sweets and biscuits. Very friendly- home from home. Superb breakfast and reasonably priced. Thankyou - we will be back.
Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Room was tastefully decorated with lovely bedding on one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in when away from home.

Nothing.
Having to get up and leave such a lovely comfy bed.
There is nothing to dislike about this guest house. I would go there again.
The heating seemed to be on a central system so we couldn't put it on in the mornings. Apart from the pub there was nothing else close by. The bus was quite expensive, but those things are not the fault of the guest house!.

Could do with a larger sign. Had to walk through village to find it.
