  The staff were the best I have ever encountered in a hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and they were extreamly friendly. I would plan to stay there at least one night on each return trip to the area. I would highly recommend it. The spa is fantsatic!   We LOVED the Risley Guest House! The room was beautifully decorated with fresh and cheerful colors and so very clean. Wonderful fluffy towels and a modern bathroom were an added bonus! Also the down pillows and very comfortable mattress were great for sleeping. Sarah is an awesome and gracious hostess and her hot English breakfast was delicious. Risley Guest House is actually more beautiful and updated than the pictures below show. - Sarah was incredibly welcoming and generous with accommodating my friend and myself with four year old daughter at short notice. It was lovely to be allowed to relax in the garden, enjoy the play equipment and stroll 100yards to a friendly pub. It's very close to m1 great place to stopover for a few nights, we found it hard to leave

  i think the beds are so comfy had a good sleep the breakfast was lovely i found the staff always said hi smiled. - Extremely comfortable and staff were very professional. Very happy all round. - Breakfast which was included was excellent! also liked morning paper delivered
