The friendliness of the staff, being able to use the spa and gym, relaxing atomosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. - Service was excellent, staff couldn't do enough for us. Facilities really nice. Local area great for relaxing.

This hotel was recently refurbished, but thankfully that does not meanmodernised. It still retains all the comfort and charm that we knewpreviously. It's an ideal winter break hotel with large open fires inall the public rooms and so cosy you really feel like curling up infront of one of the fires in dressing gown and slippers.
