  We have been going to the hotel for over 50 years and we love it .everybody was most helpful to us -they even changed our room to make it easier for our advancing years ! - The staff were ecxeptionally good- pleasant, welcoming,highly professional without being overbearing. Well done

  Everybody in the hotel was so friendly that made us to feel like homeand we woldn't mind that the building is a little old. The breakfast was really good, and the man who serves it was exceptionally friendly. The room was clean and confortable. - very nice but a little expensive for what it was we thought.   We only booked Folly Farm Cottage the morning before we actually went and relied heavily on the reviews from previous visitors we read on this site. The reviews proved to be accurate and informative. The travel directions we were emailed were clear and precise so we arrived with no difficulty at all. The location is ideal - a small quintessential English village complete with two excellent - The room we had was gorgeous - a four poster bed, nice little gas fire, a spa bath, and a good little kitchen all decorated just as you would imagine a Cotswolds cottage. No detail was forgotten - even the peony handwash matched the "Peony Suite". Had the weather not been so cold we would also have enjoyed the lovely courtyard area that came with our room.   The stay was excellent. It surpassed our expectations. The Proprietor rang before we arrived asking about food for breakfast and anything we needed. She has been a wonderful host before during and after our stay.
