  Beautiful setting, beautiful house, beautiful breakfast! There's a lodge more or less at the end of the drive that does lovely food and you can drink the night away there and talk to the locals while they spin you a story or two! Followed by a sing song! The accomodation was cozy and comfortable and clean as a whistle! We travelled with a 4 mont... hva folk sier » h old baby and the owners (john and his wife) couldn't do enough! Breakfast was plentyful with lovely home made jams. There are no tv's in the rooms, - This has to be one of the best values for family lodging in the Loch Lommond area!! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the self catering cottage. With 2 bedrooms, one with a double and single upstairs and another downstairs with a bunk bed set, this cottage easily accommodates a family or group of 5 people. It has a kitchen and a living/ dining area with a table that 4 can comfortably sit at for meals. The Londis grocery store is an easy 5 minute walk away and if you prefer a meal out

  I liked the fact it was a lodge with my own door going out onto a small verandah. I had my dog with me and this was great for her to get out and in. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, also very dog friendly and made a fuss of Molly. Ian made sure we were happy with everything. We were there to cheer on the family members running in the High... hva folk sier » land Fling and the location was perfect. We had a meal in the restaurant at night and all 8 of us enjoyed it. Dogs were allowed into the bar area whic - Privacy to chalet and car parking at the door. Chosen as dog made welcome and access for exercise easy. Good freshly cooked food, good portions including an excellent choice for breakfast. Bed comfortable, en.suite and facilities for hot drinks. Have used again and will do so in future for one night stop over. We found the staff to be very helpful and the open fire in main building was a welcome sight in the cold weather.
