  Everything! Absolutely fab, cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Suite was a small appartment, we could happily have moved in. Thoughtful extras like take-away boxes at breakfast, shopping done for you if you wanted to self-cater, Lovely helpful and friendly staff. It's on the edge of the Old Town but just off the main drag, and it was actually ve - I loved the fact that everything was brand new, very clean and it also had a kitchenette (toaster, microwave, dishwasher etc). It is located in a nice area (new residential developments, offices) and just across the road is University of Edinburgh. It is 20 minutes away from the main tourist attractions (the Castle, Whiskey Museum, Princess Street). There is a parking near by (literally the building close to the hotel). The location is new and it’s not on the gps – you will be guided to an nhs

  Everything, the very, very nice and polite staff. - Staff were excellent, food was lovely in the bar. Room was spotless and bed was really confortable.

There is a bus stop 50yds from the hotel and you can get a bus to Edinburgh which costs £3- 50p return. which is a dam sight cheaper than the £20+ it costs to park for the day. The Hotel staff are friendly and helpful the hotel is a very modern design and beautifully appointed. Don't be put off by the fact its next to Tesco's on a retail park, its just brilliant planning as if you are going out for the day you can go and get food to take with - We loved the design & decor of the Dakota. It was very modern & stylish. The staff from beginning to end were amazing ... So so friendly. We stayed for 2 nights but on the 2nd night we decided we wld like our 9 yr old Grandson who we were visiting in Edinburgh to stay the night with us. We asked reception if that wld be possible & within 10 mins a z bed was being set up in our room. We had a great weekend & will definitely be going back. My Grandson was well impressed also.. Hi

  Easy hotel to relax in and all personnel were very helpfull - The hotel is set in superb grounds and is remote from the village and very quiet. It has great facilities and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

  The staff were very friendly and welcoming people, always on hand toprovide any useful knowledge and also cater for any specific needs. TheRestaurant provided excellant dining, with great selection of food anddrink. All other facilities were also of a high standard and Ithoroughly enjoyed my stay! Thank you - The hotel is in an ideal location if you are not looking to be right in the centre of Edinburgh, the Edinburgh Park Train Station is perfectly located jst behind the hotel and is only 2 stops from Waverly. The dinner in the hotel was lovely as was the breakfast.
