  A first class welcome. This even included coming out to the car park to see that we had negotiated the electric gates OK. The owners made us feel like their own personal guests. The building is breathtaking and lovingly restored. The continental breakfast was the perfect detoxification and delightfully varied. We would not hesitate to re - The ambiance was true old world English. It is in the best location Painswick. I thought Painswick was the most charming town in the area. The Manor was beautiful. The owners were charming and took us under their wings. Te staff was friendly and efficient. We will be back. It is also close to train service.

  Loved the whole place. Beautiful surroundings, fabulous accommodation, wonderfully clean & fresh bedding. We opted to have a meal in the house restaurant, as we were only staying for the one night - the meal was great and service was good.
